I found another candidate for our pediatrician! (That was quick, huh?) Dr. Tatyana Ledovsky is located in Ridgewood, has 20+ years of experience, and is Board Certified. She is also in the office Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, with a covering doctor on Thursday--sweet!

We'll be going in for an interview with Dr. Ledovsky in the next week or two, so I will be sure to post an update afterwards. Some key things to ask a pediatrician include:
- Who can I call in the event of an after-hours emergency?
- If my child is sick, can we come into the office that same day?
- Is the pediatrician available by phone for non-urgent questions?
- Does the office have separate sick patient and a well patient rooms?
- What are the pediatrician's vaccination policies/beliefs? Do they jive with your own?

ReplyDeleteShe is also my son's pediatrician since he was 6 days old back in Sept. 2009. I totally love her as well! She makes sure both mommy and baby are happy and healthy =)
